Our world is presently overly consumed with political correctness, unrest and will soon collapse. For no nation can stand if divided!
“Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand (Matthew 12:25).
These words were spoken from Jesus in Matthew to explain why he was not of Satan’s kingdom as the Pharisees believed.
I remember when we had free speech. Even when someone disagreed there was no one punch to the face or mace spraying.
What is happening to our country today is a significant sign of changing times. We were once a country of God believing Christians; now it is difficult to say what we are becoming.
America And Prophecy
Scripture is fulfilling at an alarming rate, yet no one seems aware of the change.
“There is a generation that calls down evil even upon its father and does not bless even its mother” (Proverbs 30:11). If we are truthful, we see this scripture happening each day in America.
Offspring have no respect for parents who clothe and feed them. Children in the 21st Century are ungrateful and feel entitled to whatever they desire without working for anything! However, not all blame belongs on the children because scripture warns and tells us to, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Prov. 22:6).
Why? Because respect for God and country is dying, leaving many Americans hearts cold. We are moving into an era spoke of in the book of Daniels, where wrong is right and right is wrong.
The future of our once great country is hanging by a thread changing to a Banana Republic. Americans once looked down on these governments, saying, “This would never happen in our democracy.” However, the unthinkable is now happening at our borders as hordes attempt to breach the sanctity of our country.
Christians need to pray as they have never prayed before as these times become more desperate as we move into the future!
Look to God for change, protection and reform. It is only through God that we as a nation can expect to survive. But if we remain on the course we are not on there is no hope for America.
I pray for our once great nation once under God for a revival and return to the God who made our country great!
America Emulating Godliness
Why are Americans emulating godless countries when we should know better? Jeremiah 44 is a great chapter to read to learn why we are not to worship idols as heathen nations and this chapter also explain why our country will fall because of our miserable state.
Our society has moved too far to the left leaving God behind, forgetting his many blessings for which we once thankful.
Christians need to take a stand against anything ungodly. Even so-called believers are almost as bad as the sinners some now rebuke. Christians can not only obey God on Sunday but must also follow the teachings of the Bible every day!
Stop America before it is too late! Stop the hate for the message of Jesus’ ministry is about “LOVE” not hate!
“If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us”(1 John 4:12).
But if there is no time to read God’s Word then how you can know the message Jesus was sent to teach us?
I have become acquainted with Christians and Churches with only one goal, to increase membership and financial gain within the Church!
Yes, we must support the Church, but the goal is not to grow membership or financial gain even if most people choose not to join church our Church. As Christians, we are commanded by Jesus to make “Disciples and save the lost.”
It is for this reason I love Eastside Christian Church. I have never known Pastor Appel to refuse baptism to anyone who seeks the light of God, even if they choose to join another church. However, there is only one Pastor Gene Appel (https://www.facebook.com/eastsidecc/).
I admire Pastor Appel because he is genuine, unpretentious and his heart and work is for God! This man was a blessing sent by God to Eastside because with him came a fresh wind, which Eastside asked God to address, and the Church went into prayer. God heard and honored the request!
I believe some churches seek numbers but not God. Why hold back the lost from finding God or anyone with a desire to serve or become members of a congregation?
I have never understood why churches set special times to accept new members, for God is always receiving us into his Kingdom.
It is also a mystery to me why churches leave American soil seeking people to help when there are thousands within our borders needing the same help! But these are my thoughts, though I understand churches with a desire to go outside our boundaries to help too. I also help outsides and those within my borders.
I am not judging anyone for it is against the teachings of Jesus to judge others for only he can justly judge.
“Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right” (Luke 12:57).
Return of Christ
We are closer to Christ’s return than any generation has ever been, though many prophecies remain before God’s judgments are fulfilled. Jesus will not return for his Church.
Now for the two schools of thought concerning the rapture and God’s Church. Some believe Christians will be raptured along with the dead in Christ and not go through the tribulation, and other scholars believe the Church will go through the tribulation, but no matter.
Jesus will return for the Church and the dead in Christ will rise! Our job is to be ready for whatever happens upon the return of Jesus, so it matters not which eschatological school you belong. The result will be the same if you are lost!
God’s word tells of special love and concern for humanity and God,” Is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you and not wishing any should perish, but all should come to repentance” ( 2 Peter 3:9).
It is not God who sends us to hell but the choices we make in this life.
